Passed 100 hours with the top down yesterday, still loving the quirky little car. I have averaged 34.5 mph (bay area traffic) and when I hit one hundred hours I had 3866 miles on the odometer. I bought the car at the end of April and I almost never put the top up - DW has short hair and drives a prht miata, so that helps alot

I've got ~4300 miles and ~78 open hours at this point. The weather here was a little rough earlier this spring.

 

Just crossed over 200 hours. I was within a few miles of 8000. Since my average mph is around 36.5, I think I have broken a law of physics somewhere.

Still loving driving this car. Top only goes up when parked outside Sport mode always on - love the burble and pop of the exhaust.

 

I'm right on your tail hours-wise (just under 200) but I'm racking up more miles. You'll no doubt pull ahead of me over the winter months. :(

 

Loving it every day.

 

Also at ~16000 miles but only ~250 hours open. :(

Such is life in a state with 4 distinct seasons.

 

Impressive MPG! Are you driving automatic or standard transmission? The best I've gotten is 29.5 mpg. Did the engine get a tweak or update since 2009?

I am lucky to get 28 mpg I drive the thing like I stole it everyday. The 36.5 was the average miles per HOUR due to bay area traffic.

 

Not a Cabrio, but I haven't had the top up on my MGB for years. I put a new top on it about 15 years ago and just left it stowed! The car has always been garaged and I have a tonneau cover for when I park it outside of the garage. I avoid driving in the rain, but the windshield keeps the rain out of the car at speeds over 45 mph.

I hit 400 hours over the weekend - 17789 miles. Getting hot here now though. I might want to get neoprene seat covers for summer - leather gets hot in the sun in traffic...
