Basically all the same type of engine mods are available for both Cooper and S, except the pulley and intercooler.

Intake, Exhuast (inc. header), Throttle body, Camshaft, Ignition kit, ported/polished/big-valve Cylinder Head. Also, if I had a Cooper, I may look into finding a scrapyard MCS engine and swap out the forged crank and con-rods and beefed up exhuast valvetrain. At that point I'd start looking for stronger pistons too. I wouldn't do a turbo on a Cooper until I've beefed up the bottom-end, just to be safe.

Hope that helps,
Ryan

hmm, I'm not aware of any aftermarket bottom-end stuff for the MINI, though I haven't seached very well either!
