Back to MINI after 2 yrs: '11 JCW Ordered!

Well I tried to stay away--but it didn't work. Per my signature you see my MINI history dates back to May, 2004. I like my 135i, but there was an empty feeling after I sold my '05 MCS. Every time I would see a MINI I regretted selling "BUD".

It took 2 yrs, but I am back and will anxiously await the arrival of "BUD 2" o/a late July or early August--unless the dealer(Tom Bush MINI--Jax,FL) can find an earlier production date for my JCW . If I had a 3 car garage I would keep the BMW (The Red Baron). Someone will get lucky and pick up a 2 yr old car from me that is basically brand new. No track time or racing. Just pampered. I have way more miles on my soon to be 68 yr old legs from running over 73,000 miles in the last 35 yrs than my last 4 cars I have owned.

Great to be back! Nick

For some reason my edited/changed profile didn't change. Basically my 135 is now 2 yrs old and just went over 7,000 miles. And I had added the '11 JCW ordered on 5/9/11. Sorry. Nick

You probably should have waited for the all new 2012 JCW. The 2011 has the same N14 as the older JCW's. Just saying...

Welcome back. Now comes the long wait, again.
I just got an '11 MCS after my '06 MCS was totaled. The wait the second time was just as bad I hate to say. But I was driving a Toyota Camry rental while I waited, at least you have a great car to drive while you wait.
Can't wait to see pics,
Annette

Welcome back!

I too sold my 2003 MCS to go to a BMW (E90 330 6 speed with a sport package). The BMW was a great car but lacked the spirit that only a MINI possesses.

I'm back in a 2009 JCW Clubman and don't regret it for a second.

Todd
