Hey everyone,

I picked up a set of non-Xenon headlights from a 1st gen MINI in excellent condition. Since my lenses are really worn and stone chipped from high mileage, I was thinking of swapping out my headlights to these. I was also hoping I could swap over my Xenon bulbs and ballasts. Has anyone done this?

As far as the headlight washers go, I'm working on an intercooler sprayer setup, so I was thinking of tapping into that headlight washer plumbing to run the lines for the sprayer.

You would not be able to swap over the D2R HID bulbs into your H7 Halogen housings. Plus I don't believe there is a provision on the halogen housings to mount the ballast.

 

Thanks NH_MCS! I guess I was just hoping I would be able to do that. Time to go a different route...
