Just saw that exact color combination on the street today. Earlier this week, I saw a black and white one parked in the city. Sigh. I want my Cooper...

My Cooper will be liquid yellow w/ white roof. It doesn't seem to be a popular choice in the US. At least according to Member MINIs section here  Should be here in Dec. '02

Indy blue, Chile red, British Raceing green and Pure silver deffinately appear to be the most popular colors, around here at least(which I'd bet is a good reflection on the rest of the world). The Dark silver's pretty popular too, but since it's only available on the S, I think that brings it's rateing down a bit. It probably goes in the second most popular grouping along with Black and Liquid yellow. The same thing happens again with the Electric blue, draging it down to the least popular color group, but I'm not too sure. I've only encountered three people on this site who have or potentially have a Pepper white, and one who has a velvet red. In the member's gallery, there are only 2 pic.s of the velvet red, both taken by a professional photographer, so I don't even know if it's an ad or if someone does own it. The silk green is by far the rarest color, as I don't remember anyone on this site owning one.

So to re-cap, I think the order goes: I.Blue, CH.Red, P. Silver, BR.Green, D.Silver, Black/ L.Yellow, E.Blue, P.White, V.Red and S.Green. I wonder how the new gold will stack up?

I have a silk green/white and love it.. but to be honest.. I was leaning more towards Velvet Red, which I think is an awesome color! I was even leaning toward the Pepper white for a little while too.. these colors really must be seen to be appreciated. its amazing, how unpopular the silk green seems to be.. and yet everywhere I go.. people comment to me about what a great color it is! pictures dont seem to do it justice! I know of a few others in my area that have the silk green.. I havent seen them on the road yet.. I just know from the boards.

So, Katiedid, now you know someone with a silk green!

All the MINI colors rock, I have n't seen a homely looking MINI yet. Besides, we are all probably going so fast we are just a blur to the non-MINI world.

I'm getting an SG/Black roof tomorrow morning. I haven't seen this combo in person yet, but I've shown the SG color to all my art director friends via the Pantone Book (the color is sort of between 623C and 624C), and they love it. I really don't understand why it's not more popular, but I'm glad it isn't. Makes mine stand out.

I was at the dealer the other day and saw the pepper white, and that is a very cool color with either white or black on top. It's much bolder than it looks on paper.

Thanks mbwminnie and mmmark, I was curious about you guys!

Mcallen you are an excellent photographer!
You make the car look like a little jewl(litterally, it looks like a ruby or garnet)!
Does it useually look that great, or only in certain lighting?

I will also get a Liquid Yellow with white roof and white 5-spokes. This color isn't very popular in the US. We'll just stand out more.
