BMW Tire Totes

Really don't know if anyone has ever used these, but I just thought I'd share them with you all. Picked up a pair of these off Ebay, actually sold by Prestige MINI in NJ...$21.00 shipped for a pair.

The fit is pretty damn good for even a MINI wheel/tire combo. I wanted something to wrap my full size spare, making it easy to carry and not have the tire smudging the interior when I throw it in the back for a road trip. My particular picture is the Tire Tote wrapped around a 205/50-16. I must say, I'm impressed with this...and $21.00 shipped for a pair was excellent!

Something I wish MINI carried. Not to mention the bag to carry an extra quart of oil ( oil tote ). BMW still has both. And with the way the R56 S goes through oil, it would be a hot seller.

I bought mine at tirerack.com. Does not have BMW written all over it.

Works well for me since I do carry 4 tires in the back seat quite often.

I used them for autocross when I had to carry 4 tires in the back of my MINI to the track. The are one size fits all (well).

Anyone know how these would fit a much larger tire (275/35/18) or 265/35/18)?

Can't say for sure but there is a very good chance. They were waaaay bigger than needed for my 215/40/16 race tires.

Most def yes - WAY too big for my space saver spare I bought them for - KURGO brand.

Will hold most tires with a 22" to 31" overall diameter and a 11.5" section width.
