First autocross of 2004!!
I'm cross posting this from the southeast-carolinas board....
The first autocross of 2004 is February 8th. Here's a link:
Feb 8th
And the Full Schedule
I can help out with any questions anyone has, just post a message here so everyone can read it. If you have ever wanted to try autocrossing, come on out! It is something I think all MINI enthusiasts will enjoy.

I was down in Atlanta for the AtlantaMINIs meet.
However, I have signed up for the novice driving school at Turner Field on March 13th. That should be fun.
Maybe when I get more comfortable driving in events like this, then I'll get my SCCA membership and start participating.

Definitely do the school, and then just sign up for an event and run as a novice! I think zminiman will tell you, it is a lot of fun and such a low-pressure environment that anyone can have a good time.
For example, we had a guy in a totally stock 4 door ford escort out last weekend. He was having a blast, even though his car was dreadfully slow!
