sunroof thing opens on its own?

OK so I have a 07 MCS the the double sunroof and the sun shade thing that closes over it and blocks some of the sun keeps opening on its own?! I thought i was crazy but i made sure i shut it and then there it was open again. It slowly slides back about 5-6 inches but is annoying me. I thinks its just a magnet that holds it in place and am going to try and clean it up there but just wondering if anyone else has had this "issue"?

There is a fix for this. Call your dealer and ask them about it. We had this implemented on our '07. Granted it wasn't perfect but it helped a lot.

Check the info in this thread for the TSB number.

Good luck!

TSBs do require a warranty in order to be performed at no cost to you. If you reported this issue before the warranty ran out, then you could argue with them to cover the cost.
