Found best polish wax....
Mothers fx synwax is the best wax Ive ever used. Put on my 2007 cabrio and unbelievable. Easy on easy off. Wow what a shine. I've tried them all over the years and this is the best product I've used. Steve
Adams....I am hooked. I have never used such incredible products. I dont even go into the stores anymore and buy their garbage. I look at meguires/mothers now how i look at Bose.....Its for the masses who dont know any better
I use the German stuff, Klasse All IN One Polish and Sealant, and it comes with a glaze component as well.
http://www.amazon.com/Klasse-All-In-.../dp/B0002LBKEW
I use Klasse and top it off with Harley Davidson S100 Carnuba Wax.
http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...1&default=none
Very easy on and off. Just use a few clean towels and turn them often.
I can see my face in the shine and read a book backwards off the mirror shine if I was ever dyslectic which I am not.
I used to use Zaino Brothers. Great sealant and results but rather involved and time consuming.

Even the "Nice" Microfibers you find in the store dont even become close to what you can purchase online from Richard, Phill or Adams.
And i actually take that as a compliment, Detailing Snob...I like it
Trending Topics
Well. i think we have all been their. I started off with Turtle Wax, then meguires then mothers then autoglym and finally adams. Each gives more stunning results over the last and i didnt think you could get much better then AutoGlym. I then found adams and honestly can say nothing is quite like it and the results are nothing short of spectacular.

Please keep us posted on how it holds up. I've tended to find that the wax/polish combos tend to be a little more short lived, but hopefully this won't be the case.
Hope that helps.
I have used Griots products for years. The Best of Show wax makes my BRG look terrific. It's not the easiest to remove, but I'm willing to toil a bit more for the results. I highly recommend their interior cleaner. The car wash is also the best I've ever used. I buy the last two in gallons- lasts a long time.
Advanced auto started stocking griots stuff, i can finally buy a decent microfiber with out having to order. and their square washbucket with the grit gurad is awesome

Zaino here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I used Zaino on my Corvette and now I use it on my 2009 JCW. I don't know if it is the best in the world but I do know it does stop the "FLORIDA" sun from fading the paint. A red car will fade fast if not properly protected from the UV rays.
The Zaino "CLEAR SEAL" is perfect to use on the black wheel moldings and vinyl stripes as well as the headlight covers. It is also good for the red/black paint. You just put it on and let it dry. you don't even have to wipe it off.
I guess anything you use is way better then not putting any protection on your car.

CQ isn't the miracle product that people claim it is....I've used it on several cars and application is a PIA, especially on soft paint..which would seem ideal to use it on. One of the cars, we did CQ twice on, the first time we tried it and got zebra stripes, I had to compound it off and redo the application. After a month, the owner had his brother wash the car knowing he doesn't know how to do it right. I saw the aftermath last weekend and it wasn't pretty. Towel scratches everywhere under direct sunlight, although it still beaded up and resisted water well.
Yes, there are people that love it, but there is a reason that it's recommended to be applied by professionals. As has been mentioned, I was once involved with the development of Nanoskin Diamond Shield..which is a similar product to CQ..but you spray it on. IMO, a much more user friendly way but it's extremely toxic and not great for the environment. I fully corrected a Nissan GTR, a car with ultra soft paint, and the Nanoskin guys did the application...the owner immediately went to trash the car with car washes and abuse, and a week later...the car looked worse than when he first brought it to me...did the product work? Turned out that because of the soft paint, Diamond Shield helped make the paint harder, but it still required proper care..it couldn't be abused.
Lately, I've had the pleasure of seeing many of my cars come back after months of owner maintenance and they still look as great as the day I worked on them with Prima. Proper maintenance and good technique is everything when it comes to keeping a perfect finish. I haven't polished my paint in 8 months and my daily driver still has a near perfect finish...it has some slight marring that happened shortly after my last polish for MITM in August of last year. CQ wouldn't make my paint look any better, though it might up the level of protection a bit, but at what cost? I don't want to have to fully buff my car to remove CQ.
My 2 cents!
p.s.
What is a Polish Wax??? lol.

"I remember when i had my first beer" lol, i do have some of this in my stock for when i run out of the good stuff. I think the ntx or the fx are the two best over the counter products, now that griot's is being stocked they have some competition
Check out this thread on detailing world about cquartz.

Very interesting third party testing of the product.
There are a number of threads on detailing bliss with results from people who have used cquartz.

There are literally hundreds of waxes that will do a great job. Some are expensive, some aren't....it boils down to what you like. But it's not the wax that makes the real difference in your cars appearance, OctaneGuy is right.....it's the prep and the polish.
I started using Zaino around 2001. I think the products do a great job, but are very laborious. I "discovered" the Prima line when I went to my first MoTD in 2006, so much easier to use and very forgiving as well. I was psyched when I went by Way Motor Works last week and saw he is carrying it now, too!
