Thanks to the people at The Tire Rack, and Quality Tire in Johnsburg, Illinois, Susi's little MINI has some new sneakers. Those awful Goodyear NCT run flat tires are off and a new set of Yokohama tires are ready for the trip to MOTD 2011.

Jonathan at Quality Tire was complaining about trying to get the run flats off the wheels, even with the newest most modern equipment he still broke a sweat. The pay off came when he took the car for a test drive with the new tires and came back in with a one word comment, "SWEET".

Tire Rack had the best prices I could find and they were delivered in two days. Can't wait to head out for North Carolina next Saturday.

Nigel got new running shoes too. I had a sidewall break on my Michelins and I was only about 5000 from new tires anyway so I picked up a set of Conti Extremes DW. Here's to some really fun runs!!!
