runflat tires on countryman

I truly like my new S-All4, manual trans as I expected. Not a fan of runflats. Harsh, noisy. Anybody swapped out for conventional tires? Ride effect? Noise?

When you refer to runflats are you talking about the stock tires that come with the car?

runflats

In answer to the question, yes my grumble is the rumble of the supplied Pirelli P7 Cinturato. Feels about as pnuematic as a forklift tire. Curious if changing to a non run-flat will make handling sloppy.

It's hard to find a sidewall as stiff as a run-flat, but if you choose a relatively low profile tire with a stiff sidewall, I think you will feel a big improvement in ride quality and still have great handling. Talk to Alex @ TireRack, he'll help you choose the right tire based on your needs.
