Bringing Connecticut this year. Possibly California. (Cala is big, Connie is just small)

From years past my sheltie Tashi Station:

I think its per cabin, but as long as your pups dont eat the place and use it as a toilet...
I'm all for giving fontana lots of my money for hosting, but if they really dont need extra cleaning (outside of fur)...

We were told $150 per dog.

Cala and Connie are cuties! We fostered an Eskie once and it was the best behaved dog we have ever fostered. Is that a breed trait or was Snowball just a good girl?

I'd think about bringing my German Shepherd, Selah, but I don't think she'd like being thrown about the cabin for 4 days solid. Do you guys use doggie seat belts to keep them inside or what?

My Long-hair Dachshund, Liesl, can't jump high enough to get out, so no restraints were necessary. She rode many twisties with me for MOTD8 and only got sick once (rubber mat).

This is a picture of her as we made our way home via the Cherohala Skyway. As you can see, she's really upset

I am not sure my answer will be relevant to your situation because:
a. Lola is about five and a half pounds. She just jumps into her bag and off we go. We do have a seatbelt restraint for our largest dog (about 8 pounds) but he can wiggle out of it.
b. We go to MOTD primarily for the social aspects of it. We will drive the Dragon at least once (and get a sticker ) but most of our days are filled with activities at Fontana. Please no one report me to MPS (MINI Protective Services) for lack of essential motoring.

As much as I would love lots of furfaces at the Dragon, you know your dog best. Does she enjoy vigorous motoring? If not, will she be content in your room? The best place for four of our dogs is at home with a friend. I know you will make the right decision for Selha. See you at the Dragon!

I'll be there. Liesl is 50-50 now. I'll be staying off-campus and am not sure pets are allowed (among other reasons). Liesl is still adorable, but almost twice that size now (another long story).

I know the Microtel allows dogs--or at least did last year--just in case you are interested.

I will be traveling from NE PA with my collie (pic below)...some of you may have seen her at MTTS/MITN last summer.

She now has visited 21 states since last May when I purchased my first mini
(and 24K later!)

Hoping the Dragon goes smoothly with her in the backseat, and seatbelt-restrained...something I never had to do with her on I-70 across Kansas!

We were thinking of bringing our two labs but our Countryman is scheduled to come WHILE we are at the Dragon. My wife did not want to come two vehicles My R56 and Her SporTrac so they are staying home.

Smurfette I'll look for you while we were there. We had exchanged a few posts back in August in a thread I started "dogs and MINI's" [not sure of the exact title. I owned Cupid who we had to let go of and put her to sleep. I had posted couple pictures of "The Geek Squad" and a picture of my daughter [whio is coming with us] saying her final goodbyer to her. You may or may not remember the thread. Anyway, I remember Lola quite well. I've got a really cool picture of theta Daughter loves. Everytime I look at the panoramic photo with someone, I always point out Lola whosat perfectly still on the back of your car when the cars only picture was taken.

Wanted to put this idea out there. I am bringing both dogs now, and the older eskie Cala (@smurfette some eskies are awesome, like cala some monsters, like connie) doesn't much care for riding.
Anyone interested in a 'dog watch'? If I can leave Cala with other people and puppies, vs in my cabin I would love it. I'd be more than happy to return the favor of watching dogs while you drive.
I'm bringing crates for both dogs, and have my own single cabin so can easily and happily watch others.

callahaan00--I remember your posts about Cupid from last summer. I was pretty choked up while reading them. We will be on the look out for you guys too. Make sure your daughter knows that she must be very brave to pet a Lola, she will sometimes give a little growl to weed out those that arent brave enough to pet her. Confidence is key to Lola.
