Hello,

My 2008 clubman's doors keep coming unlocked and the windows roll down about 1 hr and 30 minutes after I get out of the car and lock the doors. I tried to reset the computer by unplugging the battery to the car but this did not help. Is this a sensor thing?

There are plenty of mentions of this issue. It is either moisture inside the door wiring harness (shorting out the wiring) and/or a sensor that needs to be replaced inside the door.

 

This happened to me once, it turned out that my cellphone was pressing against the unlock button on the keyfob. Since then I always make sure nothing is pressing against the buttons and have had no more trouble. As strobey says it might be the sensor but I hadn't heard about that until today. Cheers!

 

My wife walked in today and asked if there was a reason the back door, windows, and sunroof were open. I was closed in the garage about 50 feet away and was under the pickup with the fob in my pocket, must have pushed all the buttons!!
