I am on my third set of wheels and tires on my MCS and I think I found the perfect combo. Kosei K1 racing wheels with Yokohama AVES ES 100 215/45 17. I can now eat corners ten mph or so faster than the 17" runflat Pirelllis with only 50 or so miles on the tires. Imagine when they are scuffed in???? Any one else have favorite combos?? Anyone else done anything that has made significant performance improvements(ie. intake, exhaust etc) that they can document???

I'll second 2minis. I'm also running the AVS ES100's but in 205/50 R16 matched to the R84 V-spokes. It shaved about 70 lbs off the S-lites/Run-Flats (more like using a cleaver than a razor). Anyhow, I also noticed that my cornering speed can be bumped up about 10 mph over the same corner I use to take with the run-flats.

Easier solution...go to that tire place and you can put your car color combos in and see your car with a multitude of different wheel combos. Cool site. Be sure if you order to include the center caps(they are extra) because if you don't you have to remove the wheels to install the center caps and pay separate shipping. I plan on emailing tirerack to fix this boondoogle. They should pay to have my wheels removed as they didn't inform me of the center caps being a separate item. I also ordered white wheels and they sent chrome centercaps. R U listening tirerack?????

Let me begin by appologising. Tirerack almost allways reminds customers when cenetrcaps are not included. The K1 Racing was a true race based platform wheel, and therefor when its pictured and sold, its allways showing an open hub. I appologise for the miscommuincation
