DIY: OEM Cup Holder Fix

Alright so I dont know how common this is but mine was broken and it is just the little piece that hold the actual holder.

Broken pieces:

Materials to use my fix:

1. Screwdriver
2. Wire cutters
3. Screw and butterfly nut
4. Some kind of glue

1. I found a plastic butterfly nut that fits perfectly inside the broken piece. (got it from my dogs kennel)

2. I cut the wings to make it a flush fit.
Picture 2 has the cut one inside.

3. Glue two pieces together with your favorite type of glue.
4. Screw it in.

5. Re-install on cup holder and your done. *tip --> try getting the screw with the skinniest head possible to shorten the gap it makes.

6. Put it in your car and enjoy. Cant help with the part that it looks like crap and out of place in the interior.
