Verizon iPhone and 2008 ClubmanS

I have searched the forums and haven't found the answer to my question. If I get the iPhone 4 from Verizon, will it pair with my MINI? I currently connect my iPod via the USB cable from the dash and my Verizon Motorola Razr V3 via the connector in the armrest. Can I simply connect the iPhone via the USB connector (to charge) and use bluetooth for the phone? Will the phone pair?

Has anyone done this successfully on using the Verizon iPhone?

Thanks.

Not sure if anyone has paired the verizon version of the iphone but there should be no problem as the att version works just fine.

Hi All, I've had the Verizon iPhone 4 since early February and it works just great. Phonebook transfers, speedy connection (my 1G iPod Touch took forever to connect) AND it charges the phone just fine.

2009 Clubman if that makes a difference.

Thanks to all for the replies. It's encouraging information. I can't believe there would be much difference between the '08 and the '09.

AT&T iPhone 4 charges and plays great. Only issue I have is when I try to listen to a baseball game on MLB At Bat or the radio on ESPN Radio and the car fights with me because it apparently would rather listen to the music on my iPhone instead. Annoying as heck.
