About to trade my 05 mini for a.....

'11 MCS Spice orange/black, cold weather pkg, sport pkg, black headlight housing, HK sound, Navi, black web spoke wheels. Should get to me around 10th-20th May!!! Wonder what they will give me as a loaner till it gets here, I hope a mini or something small. I curb park at my appartment building no 5 series please don't want to spend 45mins looking for a spot to park.

Paid 9,500 for my 05 a year ago and the stealership is giving me 9,750 if I put new tires on the back.... 60$ tires for 750+ on the trade in, to easy.

Nice appreciation on your ride - getting more than you paid for it, sweet!

Sweet! I love the spice orange and almost ordered it. Every time I see one I get a tiny twinge of regret.
Congrats!

You'll love it. Try not to go while you're waiting...

Grats! I looked at 2011 Spice Orange as well before buying my MINI but at less than 500 miles a month of driving for me, I just couldn't justify the cost. They're beautiful cars though!

I can understand that, I commute 45mins to and from each day. Part of my reasoning to the wife was that 1.5 hours a day im driving and I'm only awake 18hours ruffly so thats 9% of my day I spend in my car. Thats why I want it to be the exact car I want. I also learned in the past 7 years of marriage to over shoot my desired out come so she feels like she saved me money/time/whatever by talking me down. Hence my argument for a new car started with the convertible 2011 S, which my loving wife quickly reminded me that I park on the street and what my jeeps rag top looked like after 2 years of weathering. I replyed "OK your right ", and still came off with the car I wanted!

Just beware about what you reveal around here. As you can see I've been a member here for almost 6yrs. I could discuss mods and trips(all costing $$) to my hearts content in anonymity. Then my husband couldn't stand it anymore and bought himself a Countryman. Now he's on here and can read all my posts .
Luckily the bug has bitten him, too, so he gets it, most of the time.
Our anniversary present this year is our trip to the Dragon and some new graphics for each MINI .
