The Tri-Lakes Sports Car Club holds an autocross most every month at Motlow Community College. Below is the dates and a link to their website with more information if anyone is interested. Entry fee is $20 and you are required to wear a helmet. They have loaners if you don't have one already.

Hal, thanks for posting this info. Have you run this particular AutoX? Well organized? Good track layouts?

 

I've run it several times over the past couple of years. They do a pretty good job of running everything smoothly.

Lap times are usually in the 1 minute range ±10 seconds. I know in my MINI I do most of the course in 2nd and/or 3rd gear.

They usually let you run 2 or 3 turns then ask you to help work the course as a spotter, then you get to finish the remainder of your turns. Five turns for $20.
