Alcantara shift/e-brake boots

What do you guys think of this:

CHEAP eBay Boots....

I was about to order the official JCW boots, but I just saw these and thought I'd ask some opinions. I thought Alcantara was a brand name for synthetic suede-like material, and if that's the case, this stuff should be as 'good' as the JCW, but maybe not fit as well? Or Alcantara is not a brand name at all and these eBay boots could be extremely poor quality.

Other than the lack of plastic trim rings to aide in installation, should I spend 3x as much on the real JCW pieces?

athankyou,
Tyler

i was curious about these as well so i bit the bullet and ordered them either this week. i'll report back when i get them and let you know.

and to answer your question, alcantara is a reg brand name. its high grade automotive suede.

these suede pieces are probably not automotive grade which means they have a lower uv rating then real alcantara so they will probably fade over time. but for less them 40 bucks i dont care

well i got them in the mail today. overall they are pretty nice adn good quality. being that i am an auto i had fun trying to fit it over teh shifter. the ebrake boot fits jsut fine but i have a feeling it is made for a r56 of something. i didnt use any of the mounting tabs that the boot has.
