I created a calendar so we can post events and everyone can quickly lookup events that are upcoming and plan for them.

Glad you made it to AutoX Dawn. Are you going to do the next one?
I sold my motorcycle yesterday and I can tell already that I will have to do more "go fast" events this year to compensate.

I will definitely try to go to the next AutoX but I don't think I'll participate until I make a few changes. I would like to do a few more 'ride-alongs', maybe in another MINI, and to learn more about it before I venture out in my precious. I'm not lucky enough to have a track car so I have to be pretty confident that I'm not going to do any serious damage to my primary source of transportation.

Maybe we can get you out there and you'll let me co-pilot for a couple go 'rounds.

 

That sounds great. I had a buddy co-pilot with me last time and it was cool. After running side seat, I think you'll see that its no issue to run your primary transport on the AutoX. Very little chance of hurting it. Just burns through tires more than standard driving.
