Will Borbet Type A rims fit my R50 MINI?
Rims are 16"x7,5", ET is either 35 or around 20.
Does anyone have pictures of these rims on a MINI? Also, I have some 195/55-16 tires lying around. Will these tires fit the mentioned Borbet rims or will it be to much stretch?

Borbet Type A are very hard to find, I had a set of these in the early 90s on my Porsche.
Check this site as they have an almost identical and it will fit the Mini, they have a few shots of a mini with them.

From what I remember the Type A was never designed for a front wheel drive car, Also I never saw any with a 4 bolt pattern.

These are the ones I am looking at. They need a bit of TLC though, but I think they would look great in black on my PS R50 black mirrors and roof

 

I always like the Type A, I like the deep dish look, I tried to get a set of 17s that would fit, but no luck, and I did not want to go with a 15 or 16 inch wheel. Those in black I also think would look great, if you get it done send some pictures

 

The rims were unfortunately 4x114.
