Anyone know of a way to get MINI to at least help pay for this repair? Just 3,000 miles after my warranty expired, my ABS unit went bad -- and it's $2200 to replace it. My car isn't even 4 years old and I just have trouble knowing it needs this much money put into it already. Anyone had any luck with MINI on getting major repairs done right after a warranty expires? Am furious.

Trying right now with no luck yet. They didn't fix my cold start rattle the first time and it's been happening ever since now they want to stick me with a $1,600 bill since its out of warranty. Did you speak with MINI USA and the GM of the dealership?
