To complete our trio, husband today ordered a Countryman S!
- Light white / black roof
- Manual tranny
- Convenience package
- Black 17" alloys
- Cloth/leather light tobacco seats
- and much more!
Nice!
My wife misses her 05 Cooper S Convertible, and she's onboard for my getting the 11 Countryman S.
If I could only convince her that our 09 Honda Pilot is too big, she could take the Countryman S as the family car and I could get the Roadster next year.
It'll be a lot of arm twisting...

Upon receipt of a blessed update from MA, here is new signature!
Thanks for all the words of encouragement and support during our Countryman saga! Hope I've not been too terribly whiny.
Our MA had told us last week that it was scheduled to be loaded on a vessel on 4/13. I don't know how it got moved up to an earlier ship, but we're sure glad it did!
Awaiting husband's 2011 Countryman S: Ordered 2/14, production completed 2/25, transported via donkey cart to Bremerhaven and arrived there on 3/15. The vehicle must really like the Bremerhaven nightlife as it is spending a month there, now scheduled for 4/13 departure on Bosporus Highway, arriving GA on 4/25, delivery to Texas after that (probably 12 weeks in all)

OP here. Husband's Countryman arrived Brunswick, GA, aboard the Bishu Highway last Wed morning but still no word if it is en route via truck yet. We're still hoping for delivery this Friday, as we'll be in the Dallas area anyway (150 miles from home) -- I'm flying in from a business trip and husband will meet me there and we will also turn in his Audi off lease. If the CM is not ready for delivery on Friday, at least our dealer is going to give us a loaner vehicle to get us by. They, nor we, never dreamed it would be 10 weeks from order to delivery, considering that it went into production immediately.
So, it appears we'll get his CM home just in time for my Clubbie to go to the body shop. Story here:

Finally!!!!
We finally took delivery of husband's Countryman S today! Eleven long weeks of waiting. After driving it the 150 or so miles home today, husband says it was well worth the wait! I agree. He also says he wouldn't change a thing about his order. Glad to hear that, as I was a very persuasive "adviser" on the order.
I've been in the garage for the last half hour, setting up his favorite Sirius stations and programming the gate & garage remotes (I'm the techie in the family). I just kept looking at it, thinking how nice-looking it is.
A bit of rain falling right now, and thunderstorms in the forecast for the next few days, so I don't know when I'll get better pictures of it. But, here are a couple for now:
