Stock headlights?

I was looking into picking up driving & fog lights that match the headlights, but I'm not sure if I need to get super white, or blue, or what. It looks like my headlights do have a blue hue to them...is that stock?

And where is a good place to find lamps for both sets of driving/fog lights?

Any info is much appreciated.

Don't do anything but pure white for the driving lamps and yellow for the fogs. It'll defeat the purpose of what you're trying to accomplish (more light thrown down the road).

will that be 3 different colors then? Or are the stock headlights known as pure white?

I wonder if there are any pics out there w/ the same light set up that I can take a looksee at?

Thanks for the info

I ought to have checked - you have Xenon's, correct?

In any case, they have the sliiightest blue hue, but are typically an OEM Xenon bulb has a Kelvin temp rating between 4100 and 4300. This is as white as you can get here.

With halogens you have a bit of room to play. Typically colored bulbs are either a cover or painted layer over the glass, reducing light output.

There is also a difference as to how different colors are perceived by your eye, making some colors better or worse than others (even in different scenarios).

I assume I have Xenon's? It's an '03 MCS. The yellow lamps sound pretty appealing for the fogs and as long as the driving lights (bumper) match the headlights I would think it would look pretty sweet. I'll have to look at some night photos of Mini's...

thanks for the input.

The reasons behind the yellow light have to do with how yellow light is perceived by your retina, as well as how it's defracted by foul weather.
