I didnt order a preinstalled sat radio or bluetooth kit. Does this mean there is still a mic and sat antenna in the car anyway. If so how can i use the antenna for my sirius and mic for my droid phone hooked up through the aux input.

 

Depends on the year the car was made. Some cars do not have the SAT antenna and others do. You can look under the carpet under the passenger seat and if there is a coax cable with a Pink End then 99.9 % chance the SAT Antenna is installed.

As for the Mic again it may or may not be there but there will be no way to get the mic to work if you do not have bluetooh installed. There is no way that it can work with the AUX port anyway as the AUX port is a "input" only for audio.

 

Supposedly all US R56 models have Sat prep. On your vehicle order look for option 693 SAT_TUNER //Satellite Tuner Preparation. Mic is not installed if you did not get the Bluetooth from the factory. OEM Retrofit is possible but usually will run over $1200 to do (Ended up being $230 for me, if you can find the ULF used, do the entire install and can do the vehicle programming yourself). There are a bunch of bluetooth modules that you can buy to use your aux input and have their own microphones.

 

if the sat cable is under seat where the hell is the antenna piece similiar to the exterior module that comes with the system.
