MINI...Your super bowl add was terrible

O.M.G. i swear that was by far the worst commercial of the night. You were absolutely brilliant in the "Flow" commercial you should have just used that. Im sorry but that commercial was an embarrassment to all Mini owners especially the Countryman.

All the ads were awful this year so it takes alot to be worse then them. I honestly dont know whats worse, the Ad agency or the bloke at MINI who approved that

JMHO.

Why don't you "Cram it in your boot"

Seriously though, I agree.

I liked it. But, I am extremely childish.

I can really appreciate subtlety sometimes; then again, there are other times when launching waaaaay over the line of decency just tickles me (see: Austin Powers, Harold and Kumar, Supertroopers).

They might be trying to attract younger crowds(not trying to call anyone old!!!) but Im 20 and found the sexual innuendo "have you ever crammed it in the boot" was pretty hilarious actually. I dont want to come off as immature or anything, but I just find humor like that really funny.

im 21 and did catch the innuendo but didnt find it funny, at all. My dad and i just looked at each other and shook our heads. Mini could have done so much better. i still look at Flow and think to my self how brilliant it is, i was expecting something much better then flow for the superbowl.

On a side note, that pepsi max commercial with the first daters....can they even say that on TV? lolalso, this years AD's were pretty bad, not funny and if i saw one more chevy ad i was going to have an brain aneurysm

I did find the McDonald's bear commercial hilarious...one of the best

I liked the pepsi max commercials too! Although for the most part I was disappointed.

If they would have combined the "Cram it in your boot" ad with the Kim Kardashian commercial, then it would have been a winner!

I think it was more of a throw back to an earlier commercial.

The Countryman ad was mostly goofy IMO. However, somehow Chrysler came up with a very cool vibe for a rebadge Sebring --amazing:

MINI - 25
Chrysler - 31

I like to see a WRC Countryman screaming around some brutal course and then cutting back an forth to a Countryman All4 doing the same thing but scaled down to what an actual motorer would encounter. Then, promote the 4 door feature. They COMPLETELY dropped the ball on this commercial. I'm really hoping that commercial doesn't follow us around in the future like a dark cloud.

Guess I'm the only one who liked it. I thought it was funny. Was it there best, definitely not. Was it trumped by most the other car ads of the evening, yes. I still liked it.

That has to be the most honest post I've read on this topic. Very funny -- and true for me as well. BTW, I'd add Sara Silverman to your list.

You people must not watch much TV. Compared to 99% of the moronic drivel I've seen in commercials, this is a Cleo award winner. And as far as taste, I'd consider any of the Super Bowl performers as being in much worse taste.

I didn't think it was that bad. Would it have been better if Ozzy crawled out from under the guy's pile of stuff and said, 'Who the f#$% is Justin Beiber?'

Other than that, this was a really, really weak year for ads in general. I remember 3 that I think were worth watching again.

And don't get me going on the halftime show.

the superbowl was so exciting I fell asleep sometime during the 2nd quarter and woke back up just before the 4th... on the bright side I didn't have to suffer through the black eyed pees.
