40kgs of road salt in the boot=oversteer!

Earlier this week while getting provisions for the snow to come.

Having some fun hanging it out without using the handbrake. In moderation of course, and only when it was safe.

Lol that makes for a salty boot!

Did you need to turn off the traction control?

Luckily the salt was well sealed in two 20kg bags.

No need to fiddle with the traction control. Just a little blip, a little Scandinavian flick and voila!
Snowy/slushy parking lots and sidestreets help a lot too.

The most fun I had in a car was when I had my 318ti, put on blizzak tires and a 100lb sand bag in the trunk and you could do controlled 4 wheel drifts, e-brake u-turns and get the rear tires to step out any time you wanted to. Still getting my snow legs with the mini, haven't had a front wheel drive car in 15 years.
