The Mini wings in the center of my steering wheel have become discolored. Evidently I used a cleaner that did not agree with it. Does anyone know if it can be replaced? I checked at the Mini Dealer and he said "no". He has had several calls for this item but as of now you would have to buy the entire steering wheel. Thats not an option. Anyone have a better answer than "no"?

 

A friend of mine dented the center portion blowing his horn (he pushed real hard apparently) and had to replace the whole center SRS section. Forunately, Mini replaced it free of charge as a gratus "one time" repair. Try that approach maybe....or save that for something bigger.

 

My Mini had an steering wheel emblem melt down also. I looked around and no easy fix was found.

 

No tape measure for scale but VERY neat!
