Uh oh!

Being in the health care industry... Blizzards mean nothing. Took Sully to work this morning. Did great in the snow but the the DSC light came on saying there was a failure. Hopefully it goes Away when I go back up to start. Looks like I have to head to the dealer. Both the DSC and yellOw brake warning lights are on.

Are you driving through really deep snow? Maybe snow is getting all up in your CM's business causing issues? Totally guessing.

yeah

i thought exactly the same thing...when i get home i'll let it sit in the garage for a while and see. And it was about 8-12 inches in my cul-de-sac this AM when it came on. but she was moving along just fine too (with summer tire and all)!! probably call the dealer later...

Good to know the snow tires did ok for you. That's pretty impressive. I am in Ohio and I saw that you guys up in northern IN got slammed hard by the snowpocalypse. Keep us up to date on how this goes.

The thawing must have helped. The lights are now off and the dsc was working fine. I bet the deep snow triggered a sensor of some sort?!

It was the 18 inch summer tires. The only problem has been stopping. it takes much longer with the summer 18s on my CM than with my michelin primacy alpins on my Clubbie.

i tell you the only difference i notice is stopping distance. to improve that i just downshift and let the transmission do much of the work. I feel i can accelerate just as well (if not better) with my CM than with my Clubman.

My wife's Audi Allroad had a similar problem last night - she's also in the health care industry - sort of. She supervises a doctor's answering service....

After sitting in the garage all day today with a heater aimed at the wheels to melt all the snow packed in them, everythig was back to normal when she headed out this afternoon.

AWD is a wonderful thing. Glad to hear your naughty lights were temporary. I was very curious to hear how you made out after your first post, because I'm leaning very heavily towards a CM before next winter, specifically because I need something that can get around in the snow if I have to.

Happy motoring!

I think the weather we are having now is not typical of most winters so I would say those with CM's now are getting to test in extreme conditions!
