Please help me name my MINI!

Hello! I am hoping for a little bit of fun here, and a chance to get creative...

I am hoping for my MINI Clubman to get to me by around Valentine's Day, so I was thinking it would be fun to name him/her after something related to that mushy romantic day. (She is expected at the NY Port on Feb 9, and I'm in South Jersey. If all goes well, getting to the dealer/me by Feb 14 is reasonable, yes?)

S/he will be a 2011 White Silver Metallic Clubman, black racing stripes, black roof with sunroof, but it's NOT the White Silver package. (I could not get the other silver any longer if I wanted a contrasting roof, and this was important.)

I want something creative, and my mind is blanking...here's the list so far
Valentino/Valentina/Valentine
Cupid / Kewpid / Qpid
King/Queen/Jack of hearts
Eros
Glisten
Ruby Valentino
Angel/Wings/AngelWings
Venus / Venis Lulu
Silver Surfer
Romeo
Keegan
Callidora
Callisto
Yes this will be a 'Girl's Car', but please do not let this limit your creativity... I'll let you know my decision when it gets here. The leader so far is Cupid.

If I pick your name, your prize is: That I picked your name.

I'll post pics when I have them. Thank you for humoring me!

Just wait and when you see the car and get to know it a name will pop up. I ordered the same car except it had a white top. Waited 2 months and bought a Eclipes Gray instead. That silver is a cool. Congrats.

Just drive it, pamper it and have fun at bath time. Listen to it from the time you wake it up 'till you put it to bed and soon you will know what it's name is. They're not just cars, they are individuals each with their own personality.

I tried for months to name my car to no avail. Then the day I drove him home my son looked at him and said he looks like that horse from the cartoon. And El Kabong was named. Sometimes you just have to meet the car first.
As to suggestions, Eros was the God of Love, and is also the really cool bronze statue in London at Piccadilly Circus where everyone meets.(Although technically I don't think the statue is actually Eros, but the citizens have dubbed it so and everyone refers to it as such). Nice little reference to your MINI's homeland. Eros is my vote . IIRC, the term "arrow straight to the heart" and the whole cupid thing carrying a bow and arrow came from the name Eros. You could also use Arrow or Aero.

You have to see her/him and especially drive it. I picked mine up Christmas eve and still have not come up with a name to suit her. Its tough, but when you get it that moment pops into your head its perfect

Venus LuLu

I just named mine last night, Hammond. I figure it's pretty appropriate.

LOL... Venus. I like it. It comes with it's own theme music as well (though now I'm going to be hearing that song in my head for days!).

You guys are good! I. Will add all your ideas to my list...I will not name her/him till I. See her. This is helping me with my wait...she is on a ship and is expected in shortly. Sigh. Keep the ideas coming! I like venus a lot too!

How about Keegan? It means "little fiery one". Pretty appropriate for a MINI. I know it doesn't exactly follow your Valentine's theme though.

I'm in Marlton. I see a bunch of MINIs in the area, two blue ones (laser blue and a lighter blue) a pepper, red, a black S, and a red clubman.

A new dealership opened in Mt Laurel on 73. I went there the second day they were open, and bought my clubman that Saturday. I was told if i picked a car on the lot I would have been their first 'sale' and if i took a car that day I'd get a little bag of stuff, and my picture would be in the dealership....but none on the lot came close in either price or features. Sigh....and we TRIED. I was there for hours trying to get something that we could work with....wanted either blue, silver, red or black, automatic, with a sunroof.

Welcome to the insanity! I'm going with Valentino, but you may want to live with that MINI for a little while and let the name come to you. My MINI is on his second name - I rushed into the first one and it never felt right.

Im in Glassboro, most of my clients are in Marlton, Mt. Laurel & Cherry Hill area so im up there ALL the time. Ive driven by the dealership quite often and its HUGE, They have to have hundreds of minis there. I havent been in there but I get the feeling that they are more in the business to move mini's then to push customers on ordering exactly what they want. (Mini Of the Mainline is huge on ordering Mini"s and there service is awesome)

I have a pretty unique Clubman and because im up there all the time im sure we will cross path's Good luck! your going to love your Mini

Awesome! As a reminder, mine will be a Clubman with a black (sunroof) roof with black racing stripes, White Silver, without the White Silver package.

I do not plan to mod her, but there is a sign shop near me that maaaaybe I might have some stuff done...like an outline of a rose or something fun on the doors.

Hi,

I have 3 favorites..... They have nothing to do with the color, but when I built your car on the MINIusa site, these names came to mind.....

1. Rex

2. Claire

3. Madge
