Hey guys, I've been perusing the interwebs for a while, but I've only been able to find good information on the second gen minis. I'm looking to replace my scuttles with something else (maybe black) and also the 'S' in them (maybe white?). I did find one option from Out Motoring but I could have sworn that I saw some more on these forums in the past. Any help would be appreciated!

 

Check my gallery for one possible look. I disassembled the scuttles, painted the screen green, and replaced the S insert with one from Aesthetic Creations. On the next MINI, I did the same plus painted the scuttle shell black (sorry, no pics).

 

The Cooper Non S scuttles are a great option for you and very affordable.

I've seen these on a friends MINI & to my eyes they look great. Pretty reasonably priced too. If you don't see what you like you should call Aaron & ask him.

Unfortunately I haven't found any decent options for replacement of the 1st Gen side scuttles. The 2nd Gen have many options for replacement, but the 1st Gen do not IMO. I did find a site that has a vinyl inlay for the "S" so you can change it from red. I am thinking about doing this and changing mine to a dark blue. Here is a link:
