This list is great! Kinda funny that the adapter for the motorola razr is available and the droid is not. I think I had a razr like 5 phones ago

I'm very psyched about my car (get on a boat, already!), but these upcoming rail accessories make me wish I bought the split or they never introduced the concept. These are just so dumb. And a RAZR? Seriously? I'm just going to use the arm rest as...an armrest, and think of it as a $250 tax on the vehicle instead of a real solution.

Most of the rail accessories are underwhelming. I'm just waiting for third parties to bring things to market. That's when the fun will start.

So, there's a snap-in adapter for the iPhone and a separate one for the 3G (which I assume would also work with the 3Gs), but nothing for the iPhone 4? And it's 5 months until the iPhone 5 is presumptively revealed?

How about a design that doesn't have to be revised everytime Apple changes the shape of the iPhone slightly? And since I assume many families have more than one type of iPhone, how about a design that lets people dock both an iPhone 3G and an iPhone 4?

Seems like common sense doesn't it. Wish that would happen.

I like the sound of the "Off Road Optic Kit", though I'm not quite clear what any of the parts do (beyond look good?)...

But it seems really odd it's only for the Cooper, when someone actually wanting to go offroad once in a while would probably have bought the All4!

Yeah. You can add me to the underwhelmed category.

$105 for a tissue dispenser? Nuts. And I travel with snotty kids a lot.

That the snap in iPhone solution is both limited to various models AND that there isn't already some kind of solution within the required to be purchased armrest with connect is rather disappointing.

Bring on the third party accessories.

The Outdoor Car Cover comes with a mighty large "wash instructions" tag, doesn't it?

There are two different optic kits.

For some parts, yes, but not the "Optical Under Ride Protection plates" which seems like the only "practical" part of the kit.

I must have been looking at a different list. The only list I saw listed the whole kit as a kit, not individual pieces. Weird.

It seems way more likely what you saw is accurate, and that some of the "S" pieces are missing off that list - it doesn't make any sense they would make some parts and not others for the "S".

Now, does anyone know what the heck that kit actually does?

If you want some accessories, check out eBay. There is a dealer in NJ offering prices lower than on the list published by Motoring File with free shipping. For example, a rubber boot mat is listed for $70 where Motoring File lists the price at $77.

Here's the link.

Thanks! Just saved me $7, the wait for my dealer to restock, and a drive to my dealer to pickup. Good deal!
