Has anyone got the HKS exhaust yet? How does it sound? As for the BOV, i seen on youtube where some people who state they have a HKS BOV but it sounds like a burst of air and another where it sounds like a whistling noise, are there 2 different HKS BOV? Im trying to get the whistle sounding one. Advice?

 

I have both... HKS Legal Exhaust & HKS Blow Off Valve Kit. Mine has the whistling noise but you can change the noise by removing and adding in different fins... Default HKS BOV is whistle sound if you buy their BOV Kit. The best prices for these pieces are at Dynamic Autosports when I was price shopping around

 

Thanks for the reply!!! How was the install on the BOV? Im thinking of taking off my Alta intake due to it may be causing problems to my car but would still like the sound.

 

The install wasn't difficult, but tedious and small Asian hands definitely helped. A weekend DYI for sure. HKS quality = TOP NOTCH for sure. Welds on their exhaust are beautiful. I use the K&N Intake system with it since its just stealth and black... But HKS MINI parts, no regrets !

 

i tried looking that company up, are they also called grupp-s? How much were the parts? Ebay has the exhaust for 11xx.xx and the BOV for around 400.xx How long did it take to install the BOV?

 

yeah they are the same as gruppe-s.com. BOV like 2 hours TOPS and HKS Exhaust 11xx can be beat! Ask for Andrew and he will take care of you and say that Jimmy from ATTIC sent you so he takes care of you
