boost gauge and fuel pressure regulator question

From reading on the boards, I see the best way to get a reading for a boost gauge is to T it off of the fpr vacuum line. My question is, won't the extra length of line interfere with the vacuum levels the fpr gets and therefore throw off the fuel being injected? It seems that extra volume inside the vacuum line to the boost gauge will cause a slight variation between the actual manifold vaccum pressure and what the fpr expects to receive. Thanks

The volume inside the line is minuscule, and you should be T-ing off of the line to the BPV anyway. Or use a Scanguage and let the car's sensors do the work for you.

Your correct, it will throw it off, however it probably isnt enough to matter.

I just wouldn't want to be going WOT and have my fuel off because its not reading the correct volume. So what are the pro/cons of T-ing off the bpv instead of the fpr?
