I have searched these forums high and low for answers to both these questions, and I haven't come up with enough info so I apologize if this has been beaten like a dead horse.

I am currently in the market for both a fairing and a wheel-on option for my Mini. I have the normal Mini base rack along with 2 Mini fork mount bike racks. I also don't have a sunroof. Here are my questions:

1) What size Thule fairing will fit a stock rack (with bike mounts) without any modifications? There are several different sizes and I am thinking the smallest (32inch) is best.
2) Wondering if anyone uses the Thule wheel-on wheel mount with their Mini racks and if it fits without any modification.

Answering to question one may be best to go somewhere and test fit a few different sizes to see which is best for your situation.

Question 2 you will probably need longer bolts to fit the MINI OEM Base Rack. Most of the Thule and Yakima parts do not come with bolts long enough. BUt both do sell longer bolts for their systems.
