If it is from a first gen car the lug holes might need to be drilled out to fit the 14mm bolts and not the 12mm bolts the first gen got for holding the tires on the car.

EDIT: WRONG, I was wrong and here is where it says so:

http://www.mini2.com/forum/faq.php?f...wheel_fitments

On July 12, 2006 the size of wheel bolts was changed from M12x1.5 to M14x1.25. There exists a misconception that this change in wheel bolt size precludes fitting early OEM wheels on later model cars. This is simply not true as all OEM wheels have holes large enough for either size wheel bolt.

If you read the link supplied after my first response, I was wrong and do apologize.

"On July 12, 2006 the size of wheel bolts was changed from M12x1.5 to M14x1.25. There exists a misconception that this change in wheel bolt size precludes fitting early OEM wheels on later model cars. This is simply not true as all OEM wheels have holes large enough for either size wheel bolt."

So basically I was wrong and you can use these.
