Hello all. When I bought my car, it came with the silver trim on the air bag and around the steering wheel buttons stained by spots from some kind of cleaner. I want to repaint the trim with a satin silver paint to try to restore it. Has anyone remove the circular ring from the air bag successfully? I keep looking at it wondering if its only held on by an adheasive and I can pull it off and resecure it. I'm open to suggestions.
