This question is not limited to the Conv, but I can't seem to figure out how to cross-post to all forums.

Anyhow, just got our '11 Conv S. and would like to put a custom european plate on the front. I have the plate, but need a plate holder that I can install WITHOUT drilling holes in the bumper. Any ideas are much appreciated. We just got her yesterday!

 

anybody out there with an answer? I'm curious also . . .

 

I got the Platypus from Craven Speed. Works like a champ. It attaches with a bolt that goes where your tow hook would screw in. Hopefully here in a little while I will be posting some pics of my new JCW Cabrio and you can see what it looks like when installed.

 

I found a holder on Amazon for about $15. I then picked up some 3M automotive tape (double sided). Works great! Here's how it looks:

I am thinking of holding off since I heard some people on NAM have gotten tickets for having a front plate if their state is a rear-plate only state . . . I live in rear-plate only state and don't want to deal with any of that. You can check out the thread, if you have not seen it already . . .
