Volunteer Needed!!! Arizona MINI owner with Navigation + Harmon Kardon audio options

The Problem:
I'm trying to retrofit a 2010 Harmon Kardon amplifier into my 2009 MCS with the HiFi system. But I've been having problems getting it to work properly.

Other forum members have gotten their retrofitted HK amp to work in their MINIs changing certain settings in various electronic modules in their car... but they have the base head unit and I have the Navigation option (the modules and settings available are a little different).

What I am looking for:
Someone with a MINI in the state of Arizona that has both the Navigation system (the new 2011 Connected system might work, but the 2010 Nav is preferred) and the Harmon Kardon audio options installed from the factory.

What I intend to do:
I would like to read the firmware settings of various modules in your car to compare with mine; hoping that any differences would help me get my HK amplifier working properly.

This would be a 100% READ-ONLY operation -- there is absolutely no risk of damage to your car, nothing will be changed on your car, your warranty will be unaffected, etc.

I'll be able to help you out in about three to four weeks when my new MCS rolls off the boat. She's coming with the full Nav/Connected system plus HK, and I already have an operational NCS Expert setup to pull the settings for you.

Let me know if you find a hookup before then.

Awesome! I look forward to your trace files.

Anyone else out there?

I have a 2010 Nav/HK build. What do I need to do? Is it something I can just go into a hidden menu and provide?

No, it involves plugging a computer into the OBD port and reading the module settings out to some text files.
Not something most people will have at the ready, but I know Yzo has the right set up. (heh, maybe if one of you wants to do a road trip to Irvine or San Jose )
