My 2006 R50 is about 1400KM away from Inspection according to the counter. The dealership has already had it a few times for a rough shift problem, and a leaky thermostat, in the past few thousand kilometers. They told me they performed a "MINI Inspection" or something to that effect when I first brought it in, looking for anything that might need to be fixed before the warranty ran out.

Would this courtesy inspection likely be the same as the scheduled one I am due for? Is there anything I should specifically ask them to look at? I have heard about issues with engine mounts, and I am going to mention the lackluster fuel economy I am getting (which is probably all driving style, but it seems like 24mpg in the city is not great.)

The car generally drives and runs great, still doesn't want to shift into 1st every now and again, and the trans fluid has been changed to solve that. It is better but not 100%.

Inspection (I or II) refers to a regularly scheduled service. Yes, they will inspect/check many things, but also change some fluids (e.g., oil), filters, etc., depending on whether it's an Inspection I or II. Inspection details are given in the service booklet.
