33.2 Mpg
Well this is my 2nd week of ownership for my 2007 MCS. (20,000 miles) Pretty much an option delete car (not even cruise control).
Tires are aired up 39F / 33R did an oil change and filter with RP 5W-30. inspced the air filter and it looked very clean.
filled tank and went to a dinner party 100 miles one way. So we made the round trip 90% interstate and the MPG avg meter read out at 33.2 MPG with a speed held as steady as possible right at 70 MPH.
I guess that's close but would have expected a couple more.

You'll get more come summertime
You will pick up some mileage come summer. I have an '02 MCS and in the summer I get 35-36 mpg (40 mpg on one trip) on the highway but it drops to the 32-33 mpg range in the winter. The cold temperatures with very low humidity will affect mileage. Cool temperatures, 60-70F with some humidity (dense air) will give you the most power, therefore better mpg.

37 MPG is highest rating for manual tranny, 36 MPG for automatic.

Some reason you are running higher pressure in the front tires?
Get low rolling resistance tires like in my sig, that helps.
Longer trips at slower speeds help.
Not having cruise control hurts.
70 MPH hurts.
Always hand calc.
There's more to life than MPG.

Some reason you are running higher pressure in the front tires?
- I am an autocross nut and I believe I know better.
Get low rolling resistance tires like in my sig, that helps.
- Run flats will be the 1st thing to go. but I suspect the Toyo R1R will not help MPG
Longer trips at slower speeds help.
-Gets lots of longer trips to events
Not having cruise control hurts.
-Every car I have owned gets worse MPG on cruise.

We recently drove our 2011 MCS 870 miles to Florida. My wife drove the car, following behind our motorhome. We drove 65-70 most of the time. We got 39.9 MPG on the Mini (7.5 on the motorhome). The calculation was done the old fashion way; gallons in divided miles driven. We did it for two tank fulls; same results. This was, I'm sure, the best possible scenario; constant medium speed on an Interstate with no quick acceleration (following a 20 ton coach), but we were pleased with the mileage. It almost compensated for the $340 in diesel fuel we used.
