How to remove pedal covers???

Hi all. I bought some billet pedal covers and i got the clutch and brake on just fine, but i cannot figure out how to remove the plastic gas pedal. Supposedly there is a metal piece under the plastic cover that the billet gas pedal is supoosed to screw into?? Can anybody explain how to remove the plastic cover? Oh, I have a 2003 MCS, manual. Thx

From: Cape of Cod
a tab at the base of the pedal has to be depressed and then the assembly slides off the base towards the clutch........
