WMW mods at MOTD 2011

Since the Dragon registration is opening, I thought I'd open up sign ups for mods or parts at MOTD. WMW will again have our full crew there to mod or service your MINI during MOTD. If you want something PLEASE SIGN UP, this will make scheduling to get everyone in much easier, and ensure I have the right parts for you.

Here are some of the things we've done in the past and will be doing again:
Pullies, Intakes, Exhausts, Sway Bars, Brakes, Cylinder heads, Superchargers, ECU quicktunes, Blow off valves, Shocks, Springs.

We will also be reprogramming and coding cars. We can change all the lock, window, light features, and more. Disable tire pressure monitoring, Disable seat belt warnings, change oil change indicator to be 7000miles, disable bulb warnings.

What days are you installing? I want to have a Forge Blow Off Adaptor installed.

Thank You!

We will do installs everyday we are there. Usually Wed-Sat, but if we fill those days we'll work more. Just schedule ahead of time, that way no one will get left out.

TY...I will email you to reserve the time/part. I know it is an easy mod, but working 60/hrs a week makes it tough to do even the small stuff anymore!

Quicktune

How much does a ECU quicktune usually cost on a 2002 Mini Cooper S?

Two questions.

1. what would the cost be to install a short shifter and BOV.
2. Are you going to rent the GoPro camera again this year?

I'll be there Thirsday to Sunday and would like to schedule time to have those two items installed.

Yes we will be renting the go pro cameras again this year, we will also be including the Craven tow hook mount with the rental to use.

As for SS and other installs please email me directly with which short shifter you want, prices vary depending on which kit you want
Email me at: info@waymotorworks.com

I would love a quick tune, but I think I am gonna save up, buy a FMIC, maybe an exhaust, and then get it properly tuned....

See ya at MOTD!

More that we have to offer this year

WMW will also be doing everything for your MINI's computer.

We will be doing such things as:
Deactivate seat belt gongs for R55,56,57 MINIs
Deactivate Tire pressure monitoring on R50,R52,R53
Program NEW keys to your MINI
Activate Rear Fog lights, Alarms, Daytime running lights, reprogram lock features.
Airbag light diag, and resets
Clear CELs including 2096 faults
Update software in MINI control units
6spd conversion software update
And any other programming you can think of, just let me know and we'll see if we can do it.

Is it possible to re-calibrate the speedometer/odometer? I'm changing tire/wheel sizes (from 175/65/15 to 215/45/17) and according to a wheel calculator that I used that will put my speedo off almost 3% (and perhaps effect the odometer as well?). I do time speed distance rallies in this car sometimes so I'd like it to be accurate if possible.

I haven't tried doing that yet, but we can try.

Drove out to WMW today to have Way activate the OE alarm I installed a few weeks ago and while he was at it reset the oil service reminder to 7k miles instead of the OE 15k miles and activate the rear fog if I ever get the parts and install it. Great alternative to the dealer since Way is closer and cheaper.

Also got the quick tune with the raised rev limiter installed, car seems to be a bit smoother and maybe a bit more power but only have ~30 miles on it since it was installed this afternoon....and at some point I'll end up getting the dyno tune so the money spent on the quick tune applies to that.

I may be interested in an X-brace. How much installed? Also, how much for a ECU tune on my dads 2006 MC?

Exactly what is this?
"6spd conversion software update"
I did a 6-spd Getrag conversion on my R50. Does this mod make the cruise work properly? Any other benefits?

Endlinks

Way are you going to have WMW Adjustable Swaybar Endlinks at the Dragon for a 2002 R53 at special MOTD-prices or are they the same price as on your website?
