Thinking of trading up to a 2011 MCS. Have a 2008 MCS with JCW tuning kit. Read many reviews that 2011's are much improved from a cabin noise perspective. I have also read that upgraded power plant and tuning make this car almost comparable to the MCS cars with JCW tuning kit. Would love to hear from the community about these two items...

 

I recommend that you go drive a new MCS, and unless it's noticeably better, stick with your car--it's a real beauty!

 

I have driven one but I don't want my bias toward buying a new car ti sway me too much... Plus a test drive is just that... So if anyone has experience with the 2011 car for a few weeks and can compare, that would be nice!

 

The 2011 does not have the torque steer that your 2008 has. Plus, you get the burble!

 

It doesn't have torque steer, because they use the brakes or cut engine power... Both are not big pluses...

OP, you would be way better served to keep your car, and get the Alta Access port tuning.
