There is a really strong smell coming from my engine bay after I drive pretty hard, first they said it was my Turbo's oil supply line and they fixed it, I've driven 2k miles on it and the smell is starting to be less strong, I don't see any oil flung around under the hood anywhere and thoughts? Does this car just always have a strong oil smell after driving hard?

 

Mine did the exact same thing and they replaced the line also. I still smell a little but not as strong and before. I just check the oil once a week.....

 

How much was the turbo oil line leaking? Could be they didn't clean off all of the leaked oil before fixing the line and you're smelling the residual.

 

That's what I'm thinking starting to wonder, so I think tomorrow I'll just detail the engine bay.
