Waiting another day for winter wheels! A few questions.

I arranged to have Kumho KW19s mounted on Konig 15" feathers (I think, just looked in the box.) at Big O this morning. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the lug bolts. He says they are an irregular size, 14/1.25 and could not find anything locally. They are being shipped overnight, so hopefully I will have them tomorrow morning, mounted and ready to go.

I'm switching from 16" stock alloys with Dunlop SP5000 runflats. I imagine it will feel a whole lot different. Has anyone made a similar swap who can comment on the effects?

One more question, possibly a silly one, but will I need to "scrub in" these tires like I did with motorcycle tires?

Until you get a hundred or so miles on the tires they will feel quite squirmy due to the mold release compound on them. Once that wears off they will feel better, but any winter tire is going to feel different than what you had before.
