Wooden Steering wheel

Hi I was wondering if any of you guys knows of any company that makes a classic wooden wheel with a aluminum center with a hub and a spacer that fits my 03 R53. Thanks in advanced...

Moto-Lita comes to mind. They sell many styles of wooden steering wheels. Perhaps one could work with a Momo steering boss which, I hear, one is available for our cars. If not, Moto-Lita can custom build a steering wheel and boss for your MINI.

Look at Roveractive on Ebay.
They have a wood/leather wheel that is OEM.

I believe the Euro market had an OEM option for a wood & leather 3-spoke wheel. It looks quite nice and I intend to retrofit one eventually.

The OEM wood was not real wood, but a simulated wood wheel. Real wood wheels are dangerous in a crash. They break & splinter that is why they are not allowed to be used in new cars. Once you buy a car it is your choice if you want to change the original wheel out for a wood one.
