SOS: Stripped Lower Control Arm Bushing Mount Repair

Well, I found out too late that the bolt mounting the LCA bushing casting to the frame does NOT torque to 72 ft-lbs. Supposed to be 44 ft-lbs plus 90 degrees. The result of over torquing the bolt is that the nut inside the frame strips - which is strange if the bolt is supposed to be a torque-to-position fastener. It seems that the "stretch" is in the nut and not in the bolt. Which leads to the question of how to repair the damaged nut. Normally I would insert a heli-coil, but if the nut is the TTP fastener, is the heli-coil appropriate? Or, better put, does anybody out there know how to repair the stripped nut, PLEASE.
