Want to get original HU for '04 (crazy, I know)

I would like to get an original head unit for my 04 MC. Bought it this year used. Came with a Pioneer DEH-P3100UB. Don't care for the fit, look or controls. Pulled unit, wiring is a mess.
I want to switch back to original unit. Figured several are available cheap from all the threads about upgrades.
Looks like car came new with the H/K system. (Speaker grills say H/K, etc.).

Thoughts on where I can get original unit? Tried Pelican Parts, and Google-ing. No luck.

There are units on ebay all the time. Expect $70-120. The HU is the same for both standard and HK systems, but you might want to make sure they only swapped out the HU.
Note that units from 05+ (with larger, knurled volume ****) also play MP3s)

There's one currently in the Marketplace: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...t/13992/cat/22

You should check exactly what the previous owner did, because installing an aftermarket headunit on an HK system would not have been a simple swap of the headunit. The two scenarios are:
  1. The aftermarket headunit is connected to the HK amp. In this case, an HK Enabler adapter would have been required and you should disconnect the adapter while installing the factory headunit.
  2. The aftermarket headunit bypasses the HK amp. This would have been a more elaborate installation and probably both the HK amp and HK speakers were replaced. However the headunit itself shouldn't be a problem to swap out.
