What year engines are interchangable with my 05

I have an 05 Mini base model no supercharger and its a 5 speed manual looking to purchase a used engine.....Does anyone know what years are interchangable with 05 and if so does it matter stick or auto...Thanks Paul

Any 02-06 Cooper motor will work. I actually have one from an 04 with about 60k on it for sale, email me if interested.
